Life for small business owners is already hard.
Labour is about to make it even harder:

• 70 new employment regulations
• New rules affect every small business
• These new rules would have to be implemented very quickly.

Labour plans to make life harder for Small Business Owners, with 70 new employment regulations

Labour said that in their first 100 days in government they will put in 70 jobs regulations. They will affect every small business.

Key measures would include:

• Full employment rights from day one in the job. Not after two years’ work as it is now. Workers would have the right to claim unfair dismissal, sick pay and parental leave. From day one.
• No limit on unfair dismissal compensation.
• The right to flexible working from day one.

All 70 measures would add significant burdens on small businesses. Making it harder to create jobs and grow the economy.

And if Labour win the General Election this year, you will have to implement all the measures very quickly.
